In 2011 Ball of Thorns, No. 1 was awarded the First Place Prize in the National Association of Women Artists’ exhibition,Vernissage des Femmes Artistes, Armory Art Center, West Palm Beach, FL, USA.
In the United States, it has also been exhibited at the Contemporary Artists Center, North Adams, MA; SOHO20, New York, NY; the Three Rivers Arts Festival, Pittsburgh, PA; and, the Museum of the Americas, Organization of American States, Washington, DC.
