Arms of the Night is a soaring sculptural form. Its contours are those of a woman, embracing the protected space she holds within the grasp of her arms. In itself it is a complete world, providing a place where we can rest and dream.
This work has been exhibited at The Gallery of The State Theatre, Easton, PA; the James A. Michener Art Museum, Doylestown, PA; the New Hope Arts Center, New Hope, PA; and in 2003 was selected by curator Bill Jensen for the Alumni Exhibition at the New York Studio School, New York, NY
Arms of the Night was an invited entry to the international competition celebrating the theme of Innovation – Leap – Dream sponsored by the Organizing Committee of the 12th China Changchun International Sculpture Symposium, Changchun, Jilin Province, P. R. China.
